- Letter of Acceptance from an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution
- Certificate of Indian Blood
- Navajo Nation Voter registration
- Social Security Card
After documents are submitted by applicants, the applicant must attend a chapter meeting to ask for funds in front of the community. If the applicant has school during the time of the meeting, they can submit a letter of absence and have an Iyanbito registered voter speak on their behalf.
