Scholarship Information

Scholarships are awarded to community members who strive to achieve a higher education in an accredited College, University, or Technical/Vocational Institution. Fall, Spring, and Summer semester applications are available to students who fulfill the scholarship requirements.

Scholarship requirements

Documents required

  1. Application
  2. Letter of Acceptance from an accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution
  3. Certificate of Indian Blood
  4. Navajo Nation Voter registration
  5. Social Security Card

After documents are submitted by applicants, the applicant must attend a chapter meeting to ask for funds in front of the community. If the applicant has school during the time of the meeting, they can submit a letter of absence and have an Iyanbito registered voter speak on their behalf.

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES WILL BE POSTED ON THE COMMUNITY BILLBOARD ONCE FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE
